AIR Automatic Inflation Regulator

Automatic, regulated filling of tires with compressed air is a repeated task for any TU / TG tire measuring machine. "AIR" is the standard solution of Seichter GmbH for machines, which are overhauled. AIR allows to achieve a stable test pressure in extremely short time.

The quality of the result of measurement is dependent from the stability of the air pressure during the measurement, in particular with the tire uniformity measurement. The rate of filling influences the cycle time of the machine substantially. Thus particularly this process is crucial for the throughput and thus the economy of the system .

Automatic Inflation Regulator is a peripheral module. It contains regulating valves, regulating amplifier, 21-Bit measuring amplifiers, a PLC as well as I/O links for the interfacing to the machine PLC and a LightBus link for the target value specification.

Setting pressure, test pressure TG, test pressure TU or also the marking pressure of marking systems can be regulated. AIR is applicable in passenger car and truck tire machines of any manufacturer. AIR processes pressures up to 10 bar.
